Meet Guillermo, Your Chef
Hi, I'm Chef G. Let me share with you this authentic Argentinian culinary experience. I'll take care of everything.
I founded Fuegos Grill with the idea that it's not just about the food, but a whole cultural experience, creating unforgettable moments with family and friends, around an open fire.
Why choose Fuegos Grill? Because I'm passionate about open-fire cooking, food in general and gathering with family and friends around a bonfire. But most of all I would like to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you and your loved ones.
Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I found myself captivated by the art of open-fire cooking. Fueled by the diverse culinary influences of Italian, Spanish, French, and German traditions, I learned its secrets at a young age from my grandfather, who handed me my first Gaucho Knife. My teenage years were defined by a self-imposed grilling challenge: something different every week for a whole year. This ignited a passion that led me to cook professionally for 16 years at Las Piedras, our Argentinian grill which came to be one of Costa Rica's top restaurants on Tripadvisor and Google. Beyond professional kitchens, I reveled in cooking with friends around beach bonfires and campsites, armed only with my trusty knife.
In 2021, Fuegos Grill was born in Costa Rica, just before my wife Rebecca and I embarked on a new adventure in Asheville, North Carolina. We couldn't wait to share the vibrant Argentinian culture and the smoky magic of open-fire cooking with the mountain community.

They really pull out all the stops for an authentic Argentinian parrilla experience! Nobody else offers anything close to this so it’s really a unique way to have a gourmet dinner without going to a restaurant. If we didn’t do it our last night in town I’d have arranged another dinner to try other dishes.
